Mu tron bi phase manual meat4/3/2023 ![]() ![]() That one was a case of lots of features I don't really care about and not enough meat and potatoes for standard sounds. ![]() ![]() The envelope on it was WAY WAY WAY TOO F'n touchy. Was a strange panning/phase when run in stereo, not just stereo phasing as you might expect Never found much use for combinations there ![]() Filter matrix was fun if you like bleeding from the ears as you switch settings to experiment. Space themed names for controls sound real cute till my neanderthal brain needs to remember what crap does. I will say the Horizont I was not a fan of. Much of the pedals potential is wasted on me.įar as sine wave swooshy swooshy's in stereo, mono or otherwise, I very much dig it. Leaning symetry from side to side is good for slight adjustments and to just see what it does, but ultimatley I'm not ever going to use any of that to any large degree. Shapes aside from sine I have little use for. Upper/Lower controls I don't have much use for. There are also a lot of features it has that I don't care about. If it worked as I expected it to, it'd be fine, but there are many instances in which controls simply don't do what you expect them to. I complained about this mostly in the AW thread. I got it at the time because what I actually wanted was a Biphase, and this was before there was a decent priced release of the original out. If I want more/less transparent or subtle I just use lower stage phasing and if I want vibrato, I buy a vibrato pedal. Having a Mix/Blend on a phaser I've never found useful. ![]()
